Spring Teacher Blogger Meet-up Weekend in Review

Two weekends ago I ventured down to French Lick with Allison Stuckey to relax, reenergize, and network with other teachers and bloggers.  The weekend was amazing.  During the blog meet up I was able to swap ideas and gain a ton of information at the table talks!  It was so nice to learn and be inspired by other teachers.  Of course the best was yet to come!  At the end we snagged a ton of door prizes!  From Scentos markers and stickers, Vera Bradley bags, and my favorite smelly pens!  During the door prize drawing I won $30.00 to TPT!  Here are some pictures of the meet up

Later in the evening TPT and GoNoodle sponsored a PJ party!  Teachers, PJ’s, Music, Crafts, and WINE!  What more could one ask for!  Here are some pictures from the Party!

Teacher Tool Kit!

I had a wonderful time meeting new teachers at the French Lick Meet Up!  One of the best parts of the weekend was swapping our favorite teaching tool!  I was lucky to receive a set of flair pens and a McDonald’s gift card.  Anyone who knows me well, knows I love McDonald’s Coke and iced coffee!  Thanks so much to Jena Hudson at Sew Much Music!

Organizing Math Supplies

Every year around this time I look around my classroom and feel the walls starting to come in.  I see counters in the tens bucket, markers in the pencil bin, and stuff stuffed everywhere!  Well that happened this week.  I decided after talking to the kids we took 20 minutes, designated jobs and started to clean.  It's amazing how fast you can do a clean up with 44 hands involved.  My kids love to use our kids broom and dust pan to clean with.  That is a daily job preformed the last 5 minutes of the day! By no means is it all done, but at least we have the stuff in the right places.  I decided I wanted to vamp up my math supply containers with labels and clear bins.  I didn't have to go out and buy any new bins after looking around the classroom and switching out containers.  I had enough shoe box bins to put all my math supplies in.  This included our monthly math centers!  Take a look at our math supplies.  Keep scrolling for a math label freebie!
